WOLFMOTHER Offering New Album Preview

October 7, 2009

With just over twenty days until "Cosmic Egg" hatches, Australian retro-rock combo WOLFMOTHER is giving fans a preview of each track off the new record. Starting this week, head to www.CosmicVan.com/ListeningParty and donate one tweet to reveal a new :30 second snippet from the record. The journey starts with "California Queen", with a new track revealed each day for the next 10 days.

WOLFMOTHER will also bring their addictive form of rock 'n' roll to the airwaves and web, with a full week of performances on Fuel TV's "The Daily Habit" the week of October 5, including three songs from "Cosmic Egg" and two fan favorites from their self-titled debut album. Fans can get a taste of the rock to come on "Cosmic Egg" with live renditions of WOLFMOTHER's first single, "New Moon Rising", as well as "California Queen" and title track, "Cosmic Egg". During the week, WOFMOTHER vocalist/guitarist Andrew Stockdale played a special Gibson SG Standard guitar which fans will have the chance to win by logging on to www.fuel.tv/gibson.

WOLFMOTHER fans can now also catch live performances from a private gig the band played at the Roxy on L.A.'s Sunset Strip for Yahoo! Music's new live concert program, "Guitar Hero 5 Fridays" (see clips below). At what was described as the "mother of all rock 'n' roll shows," WOLFMOTHER blazed a path back into the limelight with new songs "New Moon Rising", "Back Round" and "Cosmic Egg", as well as Guitar Hero favorite "Woman".

"Cosmic Egg" hits stores October 27.
